What is an Educational Speech Language Pathologist?

Educational Speech Language Pathologists are responsible for determining the presence of an articulation, fluency, voice or langauge disorder; assessing one or more of these areas and determining their significance and impact on the student educationally, coming up with appropriate Individualized Education Plan (IEP) goals to work on and thus also work directly with the students to help with their communication needs.  Our goal is to help the child become a better and more effective communicator!!
